I would like to invite you to take a closer look at the 365-day art challenge I gave myself in 2018. I learned a lot during this process of creating art following the same concept, but every day with a new twist. Dedicating a time slot every day to complete a challenge was a not easy every day but I do encourage everyone to give it a try. It’s weird how something that sounds so easy and started with good intentions can feel like a real accomplishment by the end. Please check out the link to see more about my Wink! project.
So far, I’ve had the opportunity to share it twice, and displayed it in 2 different ways in 2 different locations; both times, I received so many encouraging comments and it was a very rewarding experience. I may not have created a masterpiece but I do feel I inspired others, made some people smile, provoked thoughts and dreams, all while accomplishing my goals for 2018 even through some tough times. This makes me feel like I did my job as an artist, which in my mind is to share my vision and inspire others.
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to come to my art shows, the art collectors who added me to their walls, as well as the Old School House Art Gallery and The Coop Cafe for having me as a featured artist, and to everyone who encouraged me during my challenge with their kind words. I leave you with a short video that was captured during my art installation at The Old School House Art Gallery.
