Cynthia  is the 11th installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides, as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Cynthia is a very friendly gal; she is the type of person who will help you read your map and find your way if you are lost. She is cheerful even when things are tough and a real goddess when life shines bright. Cynthia is handmade from polymer clay and is one of a kind. The book she is reading is crafted from a map of the West Coast of British Columbia. Her outfit is made out of an old vintage jacket I found at a garage sale (from the 60’s, I believe!) The other side of her piece is my interpretation of graffiti art which I created using spray paint, acrylic paint and collage.

Each installation is for sale and comes with its own soundtrack. In order to experience the full effect of the installation, please check out the music video below which will take you on a journey through the full show. Ulfah  is the 10th installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides, as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Ulfah is a very affectionate person; whenever she meets anyone, she will always greet them with a hug, and possibly even a kiss on the cheek as she loves to spread the love! The affection she feels for this planet we live on together is felt by all, including all 4-legged creatures. She has that something special about her that makes some people mistakenly think she is being too intimate but really, it’s just simple love she exudes and spreads. Ulfah is handmade out of polymer clay; her outfit is naturally dyed with onion skins and her belt with indigo. Her hair has been crafted one piece at a time from many different scraps of wool found at the free store on Cortes Island. The other side of her piece is my interpretation of graffiti art which I created using spray paint, acrylic paint and collage.

Each installation is for sale and comes with its own soundtrack. In order to experience the full effect of the installation, please check out the music video below which will take you on a journey through the full show. Dolly is the 9th installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides, as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Dolly is as cute as a child; she likes to play games and pick flowers. She does not take much seriously, and even though she is reaching her mid thirty’s, she is still single with no regrets because she has such a rich and innocent inner life. Dolly is handcrafted from polymer clay. Her naturally dyed skirt is beaded from a small collection of beads I bought in Mexico years ago. The other side of her piece is my interpretation of graffiti art which I created using spray paint, acrylic paint and collage.

Each installation is for sale and comes with its own soundtrack. In order to experience the full effect of the installation, please check out the music video below which will take you on a journey through the full show. Loretta  is the 8th installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides, as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Loretta is independent and fights for freedom – limitations are not her friends! She is spontaneous, versatile, and appreciates a good debate. She does, at times, end up paying a certain price for her opinions, but she likes a victory too much to change her ways, whatever the costs!!! Loretta is handmade out of polymer clay and recycled clothing from my closet. Including a t-shirt a friend who brought it back from New York back in the mid 1990’s, her mohawk is made from wool, and her shorts are crafted from the bottom hem of a pair of pants. The other side of her piece is my interpretation of graffiti art which I created using spray paint, acrylic paint and collage.

Each installation is for sale and comes with its soundtrack. Allegra is the 7th installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides, as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Allegra  is the cheerful one; the one who makes visions come alive! She has been around for decades sharing her thoughts with many, giving them the power to live their dreams in the world they desire. Allegra is handcrafted out of polymer clay, her dress is naturally dyed light pink and lined on the outside with a recycled shawl for accent, her hair is made out of Alpaca wool and her boots are finished with nail polish to give them sparkle. Beatrix is the 6th installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides, as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Beatrix is all about the joys of life. Wherever she goes she has a knack for spreading positive vibes, getting people around her to smile and share a laugh or two and she always thinks about others. She is handmade out of polymer clay, her hair is made of feathers and I hand-painted her dress and made the little leather pockets. The other side of her piece is my interpretation of graffiti art which I created using spray paint, acrylic paint and collage.

Rhonda is the 4th installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides, as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Rhonda is always well-intentioned, whether it is offering her shoulder to lean on or bringing out a smile on a gloomy day, she will be happy to help; but don’t talk behind her back or she will spear you in the blink of an eye! Rhonda is crafted from a one-of-a-kind polymer clay. Her dreadlocks are made of wool that was naturally dyed with Lilac, her jacket was constructed from repurposed fur that  was gifted to me by a friend and the mini muff for her hands is made from leather twine. Her pants are made from a print I sourced from my personal collection of fashion magazines. The other side of her piece is my interpretation of graffiti art which I created using spray paint, acrylic paint and collage.

Ulanda has hidden talents that she keeps to herself, but her charm and the power of her convictions makes you keep coming back to learn more about her. Her hair is made from handspun wool that was dyed with onion skins. Larissa is the first installation of 13 from The Other-Side presents That Wall art project. Each installation is unique in its own way and features art on both sides as well as their own song on a soundtrack that was created to make them all come alive.

Larissa is generous with her energy. She is the leader of her pack and her Independence is what guides her across the oceans and over the mountain tops. In spite of her love of travel, she will always be there when you need her by your side…

Larissa is handmade out of Polymer Clay; her clothes are naturally dyed and upcycled from a wool skirt I loved but that never fit me well, and with bits of suede and leather added to finish her look. The other side of the recycled panel has my interpretation of Graffiti Art using collage, acrylic and spray paint and some found objects. Each installation is for sale and comes with its soundtrack.
